Life couldn't resist going beyond the destined path,
Often falling prey to compelling reasons, trapped in repeating patterns.
Hardly ever realizes the outcome doesn't change much,
Yet rarely carries forward the takeaways.
The struggle along the path, pursuing the desirable.
The suffering when not holding dearly the one most wanted.
The disappointment, consequence of being blinded by desire despite the learnings.
When ignorance surpasses awareness,
Failing to realize the patterns, more often than not.
Guidelines reinstated, only to go in vain.
Such a misery, all the while knowing it can be avoided.
