Conflicting Pathways

Constant rupture,

often induced through conscious choice,

while second-guessing in parallel.

The conflicting pathways are rarely inseparable, hardly avoidable.

The ever-growing illusion exponentially overshadows your true path,

Despite the obvious choice—apparent when emotion is detached—you rarely accumulate the courage to do so…

Not so much surprising despite the emotional eruption,

with ignorance and innocence as eye witnesses—it quickly becomes a foul act.

Perhaps, if given just a thought,

it in-fact becomes quite obvious,

as apparent as the habituated journey around comfort-seeking,

while honesty and soulfulness are visibly ignored and imperilled.
