What Made Us Who We Are
What made us who we are—
Not the actions when we are comfortable but when we are pushed past the comfort.
Not when indulged, but when we are struggling to survive.
Not when we feel safe but when we feel scared.
We are not the ones we meant to be, if not seen past the point of failure.
A step forward, despite the unknowns.
A calm reflection, in the face of the turmoil.
Everlasting comfort, in the midst of turbulence.
A sense of relief, in the moments of struggle.
An unreasonable life, with a fair share of disappointment to traverse through.
Knowing that, outcome is just another point of origin until the end of line in the journey of life.
What we can, and can't—can the choice be truly made?
Are we really free from the chains of self doubt?
If so, is that thought free from uncertainty?
If not, what's the true meaning of choices?
Not to be known, not to be certain—
Yet a step forward trusting the process for making it all to fall in place—
While in the moment being clueless—
Is it really the best thing that can be done?
Am I confined with boundaries or perhaps the boundaries are illusionary
Yet the question remains- am I strong enough to look past them?
